After talking to several schools/universities deans and activities directors, GradMemory’s founders’ realized that schools do not have an easy way to produce and distribute video of its graduating class. Hiring state of the art videographer is very expensive for schools. And if they use a local videographer, who offered to help he/she had no easy way to manage the distribution process. The schools would be unhappy with the end product (produced at a local video shop with cheap duplicator) and low sales wouldn’t encourage the videographer to repeat this year after year at No cost to School.
Schools needed a solution where the entire videography can be offloaded so parents can leave their camcorders at home and get a professionally produced DVDs at a low price which can really be a treasured keepsake.
GradMemory works with award winning videographers and in a state of the art manufacturing facility where we can manufacture 100’s of DVD a day. We also created an online ordering system for students/families can order these DVD at their own leisure. In addition to this, we created an innovative technology where each DVD can be personalized with student’s name and picture.
This became an instant success - win-win for both School and the students/families. School offloaded their production/distribution tasks to GradMemory for no cost to them and Students/Families got a treasured keepsake for a very reasonable cost.
